If you love golf you will surely get to know the Adriatic Golf Club of Cervia, with its 27-hole course in the beautiful setting of dunes, small lakes and pine forests. Designed by the well-known architect Marco Croze, it has been judged by Italian and foreign professionals at an optimal technical level for both international circuit competitions and mid-level amateurs. From March to November, amateur golf competitions are held every weekend. Those who know this sport made of style and precision fear only one word: rough. The rough terrain where the ball ends after a wrong shot is every player’s nightmare. The Adriatic Golf Club is exactly what every golfer is looking for: the extra touch of class for a location that is already renowned for its pine forest by the sea, the natural park and the spa.
Chervò Shop, located at the entrance of the Club, meets the demands of golfers with professionalism and technical assistance, even for those who are beginners and must purchase the first equipment. It has a great variety and quality of products and this is exactly what its customers demand. Finally, during the year, Chervo ‘Shop organizes various custom-fittings, events and competitions in collaboration with its partners.
Adriatic Golf Club was founded in 1984 thanks to the Municipality of Cervia and the initiative of many local tourist entrepreneurs. In the Club House you will find a well-stocked pro-shop, golf cart and trolley hire services, bag shelters and changing rooms reserved for guests. Furthermore you will find a bar and restaurant, whose terrace directly overlooks the game paths.
The constant presence of highly qualified instructors is combined with a Gold Register that includes prestigious competitions, national championships, and many competitions and appointments involving important Italian and foreign professionals.
There are 27 holes in this circle, which stretch over an area of almost 100 hectares that borders the ancient pine forest and a still fascinating sea.
In 1986 the 9 holes of the red route were opened, designed by the architect Marco Croze, which develop inside a pristine pine forest. The following year Croze’s project was completed with the inauguration of the blue course which not only led to the achievement of the 18 holes. In 2004 the first two 9-hole courses are joined by a third course, the yellow, which brings the Club to the 27 holes of today.
The first path extends along the suggestive pinewood, the second, full of water obstacles, recalls the great American fields while the third is inspired by Scottish links. There is a Driving Range with a double beater, two Putting Green, a Pitching Green and three executive holes. The relatively mild climate of the Adriatic Riviera allows you to play all year round.
The youth activity organized within the Adriatic Golf Club Cervia is open to all the club members up to the age of 18. The Youth Club provides reserved annual courses on three levels.
The restaurant offers simple and quick lunches designed for the needs of the sportsman, with particular attention to the culinary tradition of the area. For the evening opening, scheduled from Wednesday to Sunday, the chef dedicates himself to the preparation of menus purely of fresh fish, to which a great care in the presentation and a wide selection of wines are combined. The corner of small pastries and excellent homemade desserts completes the offer for both lunch and dinner. Finally, special attention is paid to the weekend aperitif with a rich selection of wines by the glass and a delicious buffet.
