The Cervia Natural Park, 32 hectares of pine forest, ideal for relaxing immersed in nature and in contact with animals.

The Natural Park is an enchanted place where you can rediscover the scents and sounds of nature, which are often forgotten and spend a pleasant afternoon in peace.

A green park of 32 hectares where you can:

  • walk along the paths
  • jogging
  • try an exciting journey through the branches of the trees of Cervia Adventure
  • picnic outdoors with the family
  • get to know many animals up close, including those of the Farm.
  • participate in the program of events and guided tours provided in the park from March to October.

The undergrowth of the Park

The most common tree is the domestic pine, with its “umbrella” foliage, which differs from the maritime pine whose foliage is “pyramidal”. Other trees in good numbers are poplars and oaks. The undergrowth is rich in shrubs such as bramble, hawthorn, olive, privet, honeysuckle and barberry. A huge variety of flowers bloom according to the seasons, among which small orchids. There is a real botanical path that indicates various native essences of the Cervia pinewood.

The guests of the Park

The Natural Park wants repopulate the City of native species, both regional and Italian. Pine forest is home to birds, including scopsolus, hoopoe, spotted flycatcher, canapino and the noctule, a rare forest bat mammal, linked to the presence of large trees. Swans, geese and ducks squawk in the lakes inside the park and are attracted by the food offered by visitors.

The wetlands are instead inhabited by marsh turtles, tree frogs and the waterways and canals are rich in fish (ninth, stickleback) and reptiles (luscengola, snake, and toad).

Along the way it is easy to encounter flamboyant peacocks or pheasants but you can also admire numerous other varieties of animals: chickens, guinea fowl, turkeys, rabbits, goats, sheep, horses, donkeys, cattle, fallow deer and deer. Many of these can be touched by hand inside the fence of the Vecchia Fattoria.

In the old Farm

The Old Farm is beyond the canal, in the paid area. You will experience a fascinating close encounter with pets in a fenced area, naturally assisted by experienced staff. Children are enchanted when they can interact and look after the farm animals, in complete safety without disturbing the animals themselves.

Access to dogs in the area with animals is not allowed even with a leash and muzzle, while they have free access in the first part of the Park.

Come to the Family Hotel Lem Casadei in Cervia and visit the Park! Your children will be thrilled!
