Cervia hosts the Italian stage of the toughest and most prestigious triathlon in the world, Ironman Italy Emilia Romagna

The event brings thousands of athletes from all over the world to compete in the three classic trials: 3.86 kilometers swimming, 180.260 kilometers by bike through the Natural Park of the Saline di Cervia and the hinterland up to the village of Bertinoro, for then finish with the 42.195 kilometer marathon that touches the most characteristic points of Cervia and Milano Marittima.
