This charming town on the Adriatic coast, not far from Venice, preserves an exceptional artistic heritage of the V and the VIII century, when the city was the capital of the Western Roman Empire, of the Ostrogoth’s Kingdom and of the Byzantine Empire. A stroll among the traces of this past visiting the UNESCO Monuments.

Ravenna is also the city of Dante Alighieri, the major Italian poet and the father of the Italian language: he chose this place as his “last refuge” and the city still guard his immortal remains. Last but not least, full immersion in a mosaic lab consisting in learning the process to achieve the ancient techniques of mosaics’ production. By this amazing experience you will get closer to mosaic tradition by using the original materials, small pieces of colored glass.

The process includes a guided tour of the shop, the explanation and workshop step by step and the making of a small mosaic.
