The cycling route that connects Cervia and Venice can be used in different stages that allow you to make the route modular at will. The itinerary tested during the inauguration of the route in July 2018, has 3 main stages and is recorded with a gpx track that can be downloaded from the site of the Rotta del Sale bike trail.
Before reaching Comacchio and its valleys, we cross wonderful natural reserves, such as the Foce del Bevano, the Ortazzo and the Ortazzino and the Ravenna pine forests. The route is enriched with culture as it passes through Ravenna, a city of Byzantine mosaics and Comacchio, a witness to the ancient processing of eels and marinades.
A route through the Volano Oasis, the Delta boat bridges, the Sacca degli Scardovari, the Oasis of Ca Mello and the Bagliona Valley up to Chioggia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site also called Little Venice.
Last stop by bike and boat from Cà Roman, Pellestrina, Malamocco, S. Maria del Mare up to Lido and then land in splendid Venice. This is the final section of the route of the Sale Bike Trail.
