Safari Ravenna: the perfect park for the whole family!

Visiting Ravenna Safari is a bit like travelling round the world.
You can get up close to animals such as lions, elephants, giraffes, tigers and chimpanzees, with no barriers between you. Discover a 4 km trail, covering around 35 hectares of land, at Mirabilandia! A wildlife park where you can see more than 700 animals representing over 100 different species.

How to visit Ravenna Safari:

  • By car: by entering directly via the central ticket offices.
  • By mini-train and with a park guide: A paid service; cannot be booked in advance and subject to availability. The park guides will help you discover the secrets of the animals and form an emotional bond with the more docile species.
  • With electric cars: A paid service; cannot be booked in advance and is subject to availability.

At Ravenna Safari, the animals live in spacious enclosures, in complete safety.

Respect for animals is a priority at Ravenna Safari Zoo. Some of the criteria we follow:

  • European directives and regional regulations.
  • Natural nutrition.
  • Water recovery, treatment and reuse.
  • Planting of 1,500 trees and 4,300 shrubs.
  • Shade structures, built from non-polluting materials and easily dismantled.
  • Places to hide from view of visitors.
  • Scientific research programmes for the conservation and reintroduction of species at risk of extinction.

The stars of the Ravenna Safari

The Safari is home to a wide variety of animals, including tigers, lions, Asian elephants, zebras, Bennett’s wallabies, giraffes and Highland cattle. Each species is provided with specific enclosures and care to ensure their wellbeing.


The Camelids of the Safari

In the park, you can come across camels, dromedaries and llamas. Each species has its own unique characteristics and fascinating stories to discover.


Other animals

Ravenna Safari is also home to numerous even-toed ungulates, including the American bison, fallow deer, spotted deer and gaur. You’ll find animals from different parts of the world, living in habitats designed to meet their natural needs.


Ravenna Safari pedestrian zone

The pedestrian zone features enclosed areas where you can walk or hop on a little train. Attractions include:
